If you want an honest insurance company to work with, stay far away from benjamin Curtis. I tried to cancel my insurance policy with them multiple times but just kept getting excuses as to why the policy was still active, even after they told me it was canceled. They charged me over three months EVEN after I canceled my policy and they refused to stop charging my account, so I had to put a stop charge on my credit card. No return of calls, emails or attempts to make an appointment. Went to office and no one was there, left a note and still no call. Definitely need a new agent.
I requested to cancel my home owners insurance all the way in 2024 they never canceled and continued to charge me. BEWARE OF THEIR INCOMPETENCE!
I've been paying this insurance agent over $500/month since 2018. Home owners, vehicles, toys. Zero claims. They recently started "reconfiguring" whom they insure for homeowners policy as many of you are well aware of. They come to your house, take pictures, send multiple letters to address potential "hazards" and WILL NOT tell me what the potential hazards are! It's infuriating! No email back, no phone call back in 3 weeks. Corporate office tells me to contact my agent. It's not on file.
They absolutely never return calls. I realize using the word never is a bit dramatic but I have yet to have them return any calls and I’ve left countless messages. In process of finding a new agent as they clearly don’t care about their clients.
