After spending 42 hours on a complex appraisal report, their reviewer asked me 23 questions of which 21 were clearly detailed and supported in the report addendum. It was clear she hadn't bothered to read the addendum at all .. the ignorance and incompetence was astounding.. I would hesitate to ever complete another appraisal for this company again
Beyond bad... not sure if their incompetent or just corrupt... evaluating my house with two bathrooms as a house with one bathroom was just the start of this debacle... I woud run as far away from these people as you can..
They came out with my home appraisal of 250 k less then the house market should be and that's a divorce case ,they are not professionals what so ever.
I will share my 5-star review with this company as I have utilized them as my only Appraisal Management Company for the past 15 years. I have tried other companies and the service didn't add up like Allstate's service. Justin is a key factor in the operations and is always available to lend a helping hand when needed. Despite reading other reviews about this company, I would rank them at the top.
If you were recommended to this company for an appraisal, I strongly suggest seeking another option. I was referred to this company by my attorney to have four properties evaluated. However, Steven Albert, the president, provided an analysis that included properties sold three to four years ago and were not in the same condition as mine. I raised concerns about his research, particularly regarding a property in the Morgan Park/Beverly area that he valued at $270k.
