Best Repair Work, Fair Pricing They were GREAT for me. They had to replace the entire clutch system and for the first time EVER, parts exceeded the price of labor. The price seemed fair based on phone estimates I got after describing the problem and our best guess. They even checked and "serviced" the transmission while they had it. I was very impressed when I got it back, as is now shifts better than it EVER has. GREAT JOB! (April 2010)
Good Transmission Shop Top notch service, product and care of my vehicle. Took my broken car in on a towtruck expecting the worst. I had done some quick google research and was expecting to have to sell some vital organs to pay the bill. Allstar's service guy was great and didn't take advantage of me expecting dealership prices.
Best Tranny Shop Around!!! Been in here a few times and can't say enough good things. Same guys every time, same good jobs, same great prices. Brought two of my cars in and came in with a buddy, great work every time.
I disagree with the last reviewer, this place is good! I went here a couple years ago when i lived nearby. My buddy who was a mechanic said my tranny was going bad and to take it into a shop to get a quote. I went here because it was close by my home. They guys here was super cool to me, they didn't treat me like some idiot. They were all professional looking considering they were working around grease all day. Not trustworthy, doesnt stand behind work Can not say enough bad things about these guys. They seem nice and helpful. Yet, when my car was finished, it had a fresh ding on the hood. When I called they put me off, saying someone would call me back... After 2 months of calling them. I filed a complaint with the BBB. Now 3 months after the repair, my car is leaking Transmission fluid. The cost upfront seemed reasonable(a little less than other places) but concidering the cost to do the job again, the damage to my car and the 3 ... read more
very good work and fast also. would recommend!!! Brought my Jeep in with big transmission problem and they had it done in 2 days! No problems after that! The owner said they changed Manager earlier this year-The Manager now -Dennis, was very helpful, knew what he was talking about, explained the best and worse case scenerio for my Jeep and seemed sincere. Didn't work out for us They worked with Bucky's in the Des Moines/Kent area on Pac Hwy and ripped us off a lot of money. Stay away from both these places. There are good places out there. After a ton of money neither place fixed the car and we ended up junking it.
