The roof was in rough shape. Multiple spots where the shingles had lifted and a couple areas near the ridge that were letting moisture in. It was getting worse every storm and we knew a full replacement was the only real fix at that point. AR Roofing assessed everything and gave us an honest breakdown of what needed to happen. The new roof went on smoothly over two days and it has held up through several big rainstorms since then with zero issues. That alone was worth every penny to me.

Started looking at the roofing companies after getting a few different opinions on our aging roof. AR roofing gave us a quote that made sense and explained the timeline clearly. Living in carol stream we get some rough weather so we didn’t want to wait. They had it all done in two days and the new roof look solid.
AR Roofing did a complete roof replacement for us. They tore off the old shingles and put on new architectural ones that look a lot better than what we had before. The color we picked works really well with our siding. Everything around the vents and chimney looks tight and well done. A friend of ours in Carol Stream used them too and had a similar experience. The roof has a clean, finished look and we're really pleased with how it turned out.
full roof replacement - tear off of old shingles down to the deck, new synthetic underlayment, ice and water shield in the valleys and along the eaves, then new architectural shingles on top. AR also replaced the ridge vent with a low profile one that you can barely see from the ground which is nice because the old one was this bulky plastic thing. all new drip edge around the perimeter too. the shingles are a dark charcoal and they have this kind of dimensional look with different shades mixed in so its not flat and boring.... read more
