Dr Wood is always very helpful in explaining conditions and why they occur. She is easy to talk to about uncomfortable subjects. Her staff is great as well! The new office is very nice!

This problem may have been caused by Digestive Diseases, instead of Dr. Wood. I have a 49-year-old son, with severe autism. I made him an appointment, for a colonoscopy, with Dr. Wood, on November 7th. When I called the previous day, I was told that my son did not have an appointment. I know that I made one, so it must have been cancelled, but nobody told me. Dr. Wood sounds like a great doctor and I may still take my son to her.
We picked Dr. Wood to perform a colonoscopy after viewing her 5 star on line rating. Now we are adding a FIVE STAR rating of our own to her feedback. Dr. Wood has a friendly down to earth attitude which put us totally at ease. She exhibits competence and compassion. She welcomed and answered our questions with interest, depth, patience, and understanding. We would and will recommend Dr. Allison Wood to our family and friends.
Dr. Wood has been my GI doctor for the last few years, and my husband has chosen her as his physician as well. Dr. Wood really cares about our health issues, and works with us to find the best treatment. When we have our procedures, such as a colonoscopy or an EGD, Dr. Wood sees us and speaks with us before and after. Her staff is actually friendly, and helpful. I look forward to my appointments with Dr. Wood, she cares so much it feels like I'm talking to a friend. We highly recommended her!
I was referred to Dr. Wood by my doctor, for a colonoscopy. I was very nervous about the procedure and very uncomfortable about the obvious embarrassment of being naked with a female doctor. The entire staff made me very comfortable and were very conscientious of my discomfort keeping me as covered as possible. I was very pleased with the professionalism that was demonstrated as well as the personal attention I received. Dr. wood is a high tech car enthusiast which let me know she was okay.

Dr Wood had clearly read my medical history, commenting and asking questions pertinent to applicable issues (unlike so many doctors who appear to know nothing about you). Dr Wood then discussed facts and research regarding my GI issues, drew pictures to clarify what was going on, and included me in the decision making process. She was clear, factual, and personable. I feel so fortunate to have found her!
She listened to me like no other Doctor I have had.
