Biopsy results were thoroughly reviewed by surgeon, explanation of additional tests required were explained. Option of a Nurse Navigator was offered and possible co-pay was advised up front. My questions were answered and care plan was established with need for breast surgery and amount of tissue that needed to be taken. Thankful that I am receiving care from excellent surgeon and nurses at Piper Breast Center.
Scheduling is beyond frustrating so far. Twice today someone literally picked up the phone and you hear them slam the phone back down and it hangs up on you. Then Thursday last week they are processing the referral and suddenly they don’t have it? Something doesn’t seem right here.
