This review pertains to the billing department. I reveived a letter from the billing department that they have a fifteen dollar overpayment from me dating back to 2020, which is four years ago. Instead of sending me the payment, they want me to sign a form and mail it back to them, or they are required to send the unclaimed property to NYS. Since allied took over Bellmore pediatrics they are so disorganized and borderline incompetent. Hard to get an appointment, or even someone to answer the phone. Never get a call back if I leave a message. And the last straw today was when the cancel my appointment last minute and when I express my concern with their practice the woman on phone completely ignored my frustration. Do not go to any allied physician group, especially Bellmore merrick peds.
Careful... they take FOREVER to release records if you need to change doctors. My kids' new doctor sent the release to their corporate office in error and they never answered the request or let them know that it was sent to the wrong place (two weeks wasted). Then I sent their own release directly to them and was told it would be one to two weeks. Over two weeks later, I am still waiting. Their unprofessionalism is impacting my child's access to medical care.
This medical building is right in the middle of town and very convenient. The staff is always helpful. Their offices are always very clean and organized. I highly recommend this this facility.
