We had to bring our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel here last night for a copperhead snake bite. Dr. Huwe and all of the techs we encountered were SO kind and helpful. They were able to give our sweet girl antivenom and keep her overnight and stop the effects of the bite. They even sent me a text photo of her overnight. We also expected the cost to be far more expensive that it was. So grateful they were open and so close for us to bring our dog to. She was also the 1st of 3 copperhead bite victims that night.
While we were there, all was well, and the doctors seemed to know what was going on. My larger dog ate a tick and flee collar, and per ASPCA poison control, we took him into the emergency vets due to symptoms. Upon x-rays, they induced vomiting and were able to get a small piece of the collar out. Though, they did not xray my pup after. They sent him home for mentoring. 1 1/2 days later, my dog has complete neurological issues. He couldn't get off the couch or walk up and down our 2 step porch. Great customer service and staff was very nice. Front desk lady was super sweet and Wait time wasn’t to long.
