I brought my boyfriend to the ER. He was experiencing pain from a kidney stone. Which is a rather routine thing in the ER. EXCEPT he only has one kidney!! I explained that to everyone in the ER. One of the first things they did was try to cath him. He has an enlarged prostate and couldn't cath him. All it did was cause bleeding. He laid there for 2.5 days bleeding, no control of his bladder (which wasn't a problem prior) and basically nothing was done. I am a orthodox jew, and there are jewish holidays that we are not allowed to do any type of activities, and tomorrow is Shabbat (shabbos) and as Orthodox jews we are not allowed to do anything on that day from sunrise to sunset, and I am being told that I have to go no matter what. I am being asked to go against God's law and His, Commandments. Its not right. This is breaking my heart.
