Allied Tire The men at Allied Tire are extrememly helpful and courteous. I have visited this shop on numerous occassions and have always received excellent service. I was even provided transportation back to my office while my repair was taking place. They are very reasonably priced. The waiting area of the shop is small and hot, with uncomfortable chairs and little reading material, so make arrangements for transportation while your car is there. Avoid This Tire Shop Far from no hassle...I ordered a set of 4 higher end tires online and received two confirmation calls from my local AutoTire. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment time, they spent 20 minutes looking for the tires only to tell me that they had received the wrong tires and suggested I take a lower speed rating as a replacement. Auto Repair for Dummies Another review described, the manager, as arrogant and rude. I agree wholeheartedly with that statement. I would also add that he will tell you anything you want to hear, no matter how untrue, if it keeps you (and your money) from taking your business elsewhere. Real pros Being money conscious i had checked the shops on wabash and memorial.for reasonable reapair work. After my survey i stopped by tires and more and requested a quote. They came in under what was told to me by the other shops so i gave them the green light. But before that, i noticed how clean the bays were and the methodical operation of the mechanics. Cannot Recommend I have been going to Autotire, Arnold, MO for a couple years. However, recently, I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation, and I asked them to be sure to check my tire pressure at that time, because my tire pressure light was on. After I left, the light continued to stay on, and after 2 days, I brought my car back for inspection. They told me that all of the tire pressures were different (33, 37 etc). Frequent Customer I've purchased 3 sets of tires from these guys and have had my brakes replaced on my truck. No problems at all. Tire prices are competitive and they do include all labor to install them. Of course they can't compete with online prices. Online retailers don't have mechanics to pay and a building to maintain. You're going to pay through the nose to have the tires mounted though. Good luck on a warranty.
No thanks. Missed the obvious problem and then estimated $500 to replace a $35 part that wasn't the problem in the first place. That's either incompetent or absurd. Tires are almost twice as much as online retailers and don't include labor. Why anyone would use them except in emergency is beyond me.
Best Tire Place Town I have been buying my tires from this facility for as long as I can remember - back when it was Greiner's. The guys there know everything there is to know about tires. I always take their advice on the recommendations they give me. They've never steered me wrong and I have never had an unpleasant experience with them.
