Worst company and moving experience ever! DO NOT USE This company! I would rate lower if I could! My experience with Belmont Moving and their subcontractor Takoma Movers was horrible from start to finish. The end price was 4x what I was quoted, with a clearly underestimated quote. People at both companies did not return phone calls, texts, or emails. Two people actually blocked my number immediately after my items were finally delievered. Lies, lies, all the way!! Lost $2,500. Rug, lamp and chair. No response from anyone! Items not shipped(sold after est. prior to move) but were charged for. No explanation on final calculations! Daughter moved with them 2 months before, my bill twice what there’s was FOR SAME MILEAGE and half weight. This is outright fraud! Will report my case to NC State Attorney General, BBB and www.protect your move.gov.

We decided, after a lot of research, both online and in-person to pony up the extra money for a "reputable" moving company. I honestly wish I could leave a good review, but here are the facts: I was promised our belongings would be loaded on the large truck that would transport them to our new home, instead, they were loaded on to 5 shuttle trucks.
