I have been a family therapist for more than 20 years and this is the first time I’ve felt the need to share a warning. Publicizing disgustingly heinous claims of mental abuse and objectification that are vehemently disagreed with by dozens and dozens of family and loved ones, is unbelievably irresponsible for any therapist. Ms. West keeps trying to hide any negative reviews. My friend posted a review about her talking about her personal and confidential stories on her podcast, which is beyond irresponsible and violating. This is also a podcast where she publicizes false and extreme stories about her own family that has caused intense harassment and mental trauma. She is aware of this and continues to do so. Unbelievably irresponsible. As long as Ms. West is promoting harassment towards innocent loved ones I will ensure the world knows the heavy mental harm she continues to cause. I have to strongly recommend against this provider. Knowingly and publicly causing intense psychological damage to innocent loved ones is so unbelievably cruel and irresponsible. For those unaware, due to the crazy intense and verifiably false claims Allie chooses to broadcast to the world, one of her close loved ones wound up in the hospital trying to take their own life when discovering her claims, and two others have now had intense psychiatric breakdowns. Talking about your patients personal situations publicly to the world without their permission (whether you name them or not) is beyond reprehensible. She seems to think it’s OK because she doesn’t say names. Imagine telling a therapist extremely personal details about your life and then hearing them on a public podcast without your approval.
