Dr. Dan and his staff are wonderful with my autistic son. I've been to other pediatric dentist that claim to specialize in special children and they refused to see my son after many failed attempts but Dr. Dan and his staff must be magic because we are now 3 visits in with success each time. I cannot express my gratitude enough for Dr. Dan and his staff.
If anyone is looking for a pediatric dentist but worried about how their kids will do, I highly suggest Dr. Donohue. He was so patient, loving and empathetic towards my son. My biggest fear was the the dentist would get annoyed or frustrated if my son was having a hard time. I had none of that from Dr. Donohue. I’m so thankful we found him and I wish I would have found him sooner. He’s is well versed in working with kids on the spectrum and he meets them where they’re at. Great place and experience! Been going to Dr Dan for about 4 years now with all 4 of my children. They love it!
Dr. Dan and his staff are absolutely wonderful. It is EXTREMELY important to me that I be near my child with any procedure where any type of anesthesia is needed. I called multiple other pediatric dentist offices and was told parents aren’t allowed to be with their child during procedures. Dr. Dan’s office allowed me to not only be in the room but also sit at my child’s feet and hold her leg to comfort her.
