I had my first iron infusion. I initially was very impressed. however, at the end the attendant removed my Iv line didn't explain anything and said I could go. NO explanation regarding any symptoms I may feel. Basically, leave the building. I was not walked out to the lobby and /or inquiring as to how I feel. I had to ask how to get out to the lobby. I was told when I made the appointment I would have to wait 30 minutes just in case I wasn't feeling good. But again, no inquiry to anything. It felt very wrong for such an amaz... read more

Usually I would give 5 stars to the Alliance Cancer Center. However, my last experience was uncomfortable. I had told the nurse at the end of my treatment that I needed to sit a minute because I did not feel good. The nurse had gave me a look that made me feel like I was an inconvenience. I then left to wait in my car and saw the staff leaving the building right behind me. Trying to get treatment here has been a nightmare. Took weeks for the doctor to return my call about labs that were in for weeks. Numerous messages left, no call backs. One person tells you one thing, to call back and hear another. Having records faxed to another doctor was also ridiculous. Was told they were sent, spent days waiting for a callback from new doc- only to find my records were never sent, as I was told. People don’t feel well and just want treatment. I have been taking my mother-in-law to Horsham office for the last 6+ weeks for weekly treatment. The whole office staff from checking in the Front office, to the dedicated and caring Nurses team (in The Treatment Room) and finally very understanding and highly knowledgeable Dr Marc Chernoff are simply amazing and highly compassionate and caring medical team.
