Alley has been out to our home in Salado multiple times with very large loads of both dirt, rock and granite. He's careful w/ his (heavy) equipment and explains what he has that will work best in a given application. I have found him to be very reasonable, on time, professional and courteous. His prices are on par w/ the competition, but more importantly, I have found that I value his input and his professionalism. I used Alley's for dirt work done at my house a year ago. Was happy then so I called him again when I recently needed a very small amount of sand for our church carnival. (childrens sand booth) I reached him late in the day on a Saturday. He stayed open, waited for us to arrive, loaded what we asked for, then donated the product. The amount was negligible which makes the fact that he gave up his Saturday afternoon so much more appreciated. Both times a great experience. Not a company I care to do business with again. They just purchased Bell County Dirt on Highway 93, and the prices and practices have changed. Not a pleasant experience.
