We too have been going to Alley Connection over 26 yrs. It was one of our first date places to eat. It has always been a favorite but over the last few months we have noticed a decline in their quality. Fried rice is basically slightly brown rice (we found a couple pieces of pork in it between the two of us), chow mein is basically all ramen noodles, cashew chicken had no flavor and very little sauce and our egg rolls were mainly filled with transparent noodle type filler (I don't know what it is called), no vegetables or me... read more
My husband and I were very very disappointed today. We've been going to Alley Connection for 28 years, mainly for lunch. We do take-out most of the time and we know exaclty what to expect...great service and great food. Today we ordered 2 orders of the pork & noodle soup and an order of wontons. We opened the styrofoam container the soup comes in and they were both half full, containing mainly noodles and onions and hardly any broth. Found three hairs in my food one on the first plate and they gave me a second plate and found two more hair. Me and boyfriend have light blonde hair. The hair found on the plate was black evidently not mine. We didn’t fuss much but they didn’t even give us a discount. Pretty disgusted and disappointed not going back.

This is one if my go-to restaurants in Kalispell. Classic American Chinese food with good flavor and decent prices. If I call in a carry-out order, it's usually ready in ten minutes. Very happy with what I've received both in terms of food and service.
Been eating here since i was 4 years old. Worked here my entire senor year of high school. And still to this day my favorite place to eat. My first pick when someone ask where i want to eat. Just all and all my favorite dinning. Wonderful staff and amazing food!! Top notch
