Dr Bloom is the kindest man. That is important since by the time I got to the allergist with my boy he wasn’t well and I was frazzled. My Biewer Terrier had numerous allergies that were getting worse and worse. He had sores, a MERSA infection, staph infection and was a mess. Understand it takes time, is costly and involves a lot of parent care but with Dr Bloom’s care, guidance and knowledge my boy is now sore free, taking his allergy shots and doing well. Dr. Bloom and his staff Are the most amazing people my dog is very fear, aggressive, and they take their time and work with him at his pace. I would suggest if your dog has allergies please consider taking them to Dr. Bloom.
My pitty puppy Odin had been on Apoquel, antibiotics and steroids for months with no real relief. It was a viscous cycle of sores and and pain. Dr. Bloom helped us get real answers and is also very understanding of Odin's extreme fear of the vet. They created an individualized protocol of medications that allows him to come into the clinic and be seen without injury to the staff or himself. I am just so thankful for Dr. Bloom's expertise and understanding when dealing with my fur child!
This place is insane. They charge me an arm and a leg for no good reason. The Dr. Barely saw my dog. I got charged 623$ for him to tell me let's change her diet. Really? With that amount of money they should send me home with food enough for a year. I am very upset that they didn't give her any meds nor did any extensive test on her to find the root of her allergy. extremely competent staff that are available for persistent skin issues that other vets have struggled to resolve - if you have medically complex animals you will get a very through evaluation and it is worth the expense. have brought 2 dogs here and always left well informed.
