Dr Meera was an amazing asset for management of my chronic hayfever!
She's a paediatrician and paediatric allergy specialist, so why have GPs been referring adult autoimmune patients to her? Do GPs not even bother to check the experience and consumer reviews of the specialists they send patients to? Seems like Perth is full of "immunologists" who prefer to spend their days testing children's allergies and prescribing over the counter antihistamines for everything and everyone, avoiding the mind-blowing complexity of autoimmune disorders. Hope I'm wrong.
