I haven’t even physically gone there yet and already had a bad experience with administration. Be careful if you are sensitive to airborne irritants! The staff do not stop people from wearing strong Parfums. When I entered the office, someone in line ahead of me bathed in perfume. The nurses and staff were kind in assisting me get away from her and asked her to wait in atrium since she violated policy. When I saw Doctor Kim, her excuse was "we cant send violators away because we dont want to be attacked on social media for offending someones feelings." This office has left me with a major distrust in allergy doctors. I have some rather weird allergies, so I went in to get tested to get a complete list of what I'm allergic to, as well as an action plan to combat my allergies. Kim insisted that there was no way possible I could be allergic to lavender, and that I must be either making it up or confusing my allergic reactions with something else. My kid had an appointment with the doctor for allergy testing. We got there 45 minutes early as instructed. We paid the $65 co-pay to see an allergy specialist. Almost 1hr later we saw a nurse. The doctor was not the building! This is already fraud. After the consultation with the nurse (2hrs since we came), we were told no allergy testing would be done because our Sentara/ Optima insurance won't allow a same day procedure!!!
