The VA sent me here because they had immediate openings. I am now on the waitlist for an opening with their main competitor. PA Sams and her assistant Maribel have been super rude, condescending and downright hateful to me at times. They don’t seem very knowledgeable and take it out on certain “kinds” of patients whom they clearly feel above. No wonder they’ve got openings whereas their competition has a waitlist! Unprofessional, trashy.
Dr. Merritt has helped me tremendously thus far, however I am disappointed by having to reschedule an appointment with Dr. Merritt today, because their new receptionist failed to inform me of a $75 copay during my confirmation phone call, even after I asked if they had verified my insurance. I am unable to schedule treatment at the new healthcare facility they referred me out to either.
Dr. Merritt spent a lot of time with me showing that she cares about me and my condition. I am dealing with asthma and allergies and her spending the time she did made me more comfortable.
Best allergist/immunologist in the tri-state area! Dr. Tina Merritt is a wonderful, caring, informed doctor who truly cares about her patients and leaves no stone unturned in their diagnostics and care. Staff there is great too which is really hard to find great staff and great doctor but they have it here. I recommend them to everyone but also scared to cause I don't want them to be so busy because I will see this doc for life. She knows rare conditions too.
