Many years ago in the 1990's, I saw Dr. Lokshin and he saved my life. I had an anaphalatic shock experience at work that landed me in the ER. They knew it was a reaction but didn't know to what. It turns out it was sunflower seed oil. I literally got blisters from it during the scratch test. After the test the doctor explained that I wasn't just allergic to sunflowers, but to 30 various foods to different degrees. His advice? Don't eat the same thing everyday. My oldest son has asthma and has been a patient of Dr. Lokshin for over 7 years. I am so grateful for all he's done to help us. Prior to finding Dr Lokshin my son was with another pediatric pulmonaligist Dr Buddecha. It was a nightmare. He was on 3 times the adult dosage of several different daily medications and nothing worked. Her only solution was to keep "upping" his dosage.
