Writing this review in hopes other moms and dads trust their gut like I did. Took my son to see Dr. McMahon for a possible egg allergy because it was the quickest office we could get into. The appointment started off fine. He asked questions about symptoms I answered questions. Talked about having no allergy based off of his symptoms, but they want to do a skin test to be sure. Our family cannot say thank you enough to Dr. McMahon and the staff at the Maplewood clinic. Our daughter was diagnosed with a peanut allergy around 7 months of age. The Asthma and Allergy Center of Maplewood was able to get us in within a week for an appointment while the clinics recommended through my insurance were booked out at least 5 months. Had to come twice to get allergy testing. Made the appointment over the phone, was never informed that I couldn't take allergy medication 10 days before. Was told to reschedule. Of course was charge for the appointment, even after they admitted it was their fault for not informing me of the requirements. Made another appointment, got the testing.
