Worse Hospital in the Multicare network!!! Nurses are irresponsible, uneducated, lazy, disrespectful and don’t listen. My husband waited 18 hours after being transported from Covington, for Gallbladder, pancreatitis surgery. We couldn’t get any communication, no meds, no update, no assistance, help or answers from anyone. Worse Hospital in Tacoma despite live close to I rather go across town to Tacoma General or St. Joseph. I'm new to the area I went to ER for health Issue. Visit was less then 20min doctor wakking said he couldnt help and was given a referral to another doctor " Specialist" who sent me back to ER for chest xrays. To make it worse I was double charged over $1000 for no services. Hospital is a scam.
Horrible
The front desk was great however the care by the RNs for my 95 year old mother with dementia was abysmal! One RN wouldn’t look up from putting her lip gloss on and I was standing in front of her! The EMT offered to help but 30 minutes later she was chatting up a fireman. The doctor was way more compassionate! I’m so disappointed and feel that patients deserve better.
A head of orthopedic surgery claimed I needed a replacement hip. I alrady had one, which the on call surgeon manipulated into place. The emergency dr told me about the argument. Head of orth wrote surgery on my notes and ordered blood thinner which gave me diarrhea! Avoid them if you can.
