I am committed to the same quality care today that I was when I began my surgical practice in Fort Worth in 1981. I still have a "live" person who answers my phone. The excellent care of patients is still my personal goal.

My experience with Dr. Kent and his staff has been very pleasant. I haven't experienced this kind of care, professionalism in a while. Not to mention the instant pain relief to one area in my procedure. I’m still in recovery mode- but doing well! It’s such a BLESSING to have a caring and kind physician. I’m impressed each time that i see Dr. Kent walk with his patients after a visit to checkout. A big shout out to the Baylor Surgical staff for the organization and kindness.
I have had two hip replacements and a knee replacement. All of these because of damage from arthritis. Dr. Kent performed all of the surgeries. He and his staff are incredibly caring and helpful. I followed through with the recommended rehabs and I am pleased with the results/progress. Dr. Kent never minimized my concerns, he always tries alternate solutions before recommending surgery, and he really listens to you. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Kent!
I recently fell and broke my hip. X-rays showed I needed a hip replacement. The procedure was done, and 11 days later I am walking with the help of a cane, with minimal pain. Dr. Kent’s bedside manner, organization, and most importantly surgical skills seem “top notch” to me. He has helped me with other issues in the past, but nothing of this magnitude until now, and I would definitely recommend his practice, and return if ever necessary.
I was referred to see Dr. Kent for my knee. From the start of my appointment to the very end his staff and Dr. Kent made me feel very comfortable. He explained my treatment in great detail. His patients in the waiting room raved about his great bed side manner. I will definitely return for any other orthopedic issues I may have in the future and will recommend him to my friends and family.
I used to send friends and family to Dr Kent all the time. That changed recently when Dr. Kent stopped providing quality care for my back pain.

Dr. Kent is my go-to guy for anything orthopedic. He has repaired a badly torn shoulder and most recently, my lumbar spine, which required a bilateral laminectomy and discectomy at two levels. Not only is he a highly-skilled surgeon, but he is very careful and thorough and takes his time. Finally as if this weren't enough, he is one of the kindest and most personable physicians I have ever had. Bottom line, couldn't be more grateful and pleased!
After several injections to help with the pain in my knees. They stopped working and I had a double knee replacement surgery. He and his staff were awesome! I did almost everything he suggested I do and have full range of motion in both knees. I am so glad I found Dr Kent! I tell everyone what a great experience it was. And have referred several people who have gotten the same experience.
