I went to dr Allen for over a year hoping that she could help my severe pain and fatigue bc I thought I had leaky gut syndrome. Turns out there is a test she never even bothered to give me. After I left her 'care' I was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. I just found out that dr allen also has EDS, yet she assumed I was overweight bc I was lazy and didn't want to exercise and told me i just needed take daily walks to build my muscles. This Dr listened to my concerns when no other would. Due to that, I have finally been treated for symptoms that have been present for years. I greatly appreciate the time and compassion Dr Allen has shown.
Dr. Allen and Jessi have been a part of my medical team since Feb 2022. Dr. Allen has helped me get on track with my vitamins, supplements, gastritis, blood sugars, blood pressures and GERD. She is an excellent health coach and frequently reminds me the things I need to hear for good health habits for all seasons. Dr. Allen was very kind, attentive, and was respectful and open to hear the issues I was experiencing that traditional medicine wasn't helping with. She explained that blood work would be needed. When results came back I was diagnosed with 2 diseases, disease A and disease B. As a young adult I was pretty shocked and concerned over these new life changing findings.
