After having a brace made at a local orthotic business, I ended up going to Allen Orthotics for their opinion. I ended up having a whole new brace made that I paid cash for as my insurance had paid their portion of the claim. The second one was totally different from the first one and fit into the shoes I already had. The first on was so big, I had to get much larger shoes to accommodate the brace. I am a LBK Amputee, caused by trama in a motorcycle accident in June 2018. I haven't been an Amputee long but I have learned from some unpleasant experiences. My old Socket was a sucktion/Vacume system. It became ill fitting, I would have to dump sweat out of the liner, which would break my skin down, causing splitting on my shin bone.
