First, this doctor should be stripped of the title. He knows how to screw up a person's smile and their life for the rest of their life. I would not trust my worst enemy with this doctor. The other major issue that I have with this doctor is he does not even care if he doesn't listen to the ADA.
I don't know about these other reviews, but I have enjoyed Dr. Allen's office. The front office has bent over backwards rescheduling appointments for me and our wait time is minimal in the office. Dr. Allen has been nothing but courteous and knowledgeable. We are only 8 months into treatment, so we will see how successful it is.
I have had braces on for 3 years now. I have to say I have become ever more unhappy with the product ever since Dr. Allen put the appliances on my teeth. First, they do not care about your concerns about your teeth. I have approached him on more than 1 occasion about getting him to fix particular areas and he says he won't, I assume it is because he is horribly stupid and doesn't even know how to fix that small of a thing. He did what he could with what he had to work with, but because I always had underlying skeletal issues with my bite I ended up needing surgery many years later. Did the best he could to avoid surgery for me. Was not a proponent of jaw surgery, but in the end I decided it was best for me and I'm happy I did.
My daughter's teeth look absolutely beautiful! We are happy with the results.
The office lacks common courtesy and will not answer questions about treatment. He screwed up my bite so that it is no longer functional and claims he will fix it but his plan of treatment will only make it worse! Sure scheduling appointments and cost are reasonable, but the other stuff makes me say...DO NOT GO TO HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!
When you walk in the office you are welcomed by a very sweet lady. She tells you to go to a chair, you sit in that chair waiting for about 30 minutes while one of the two orthodontists is sitting in an office chair doing practically nothing. This office is extremely old school and do not have the new and improved technology. They put thier clinents in braces for overly extended times. I would not recomend this office to anyone. In fact I'm working on switching to a different orthodontist. i hope i helped your desion(:
