Dr Orehek is such an amazing and bright doctor! My mother was put into a local "home" from a hospital - the hospital did nothing for her!!! They told her she had a urine infection (they had her pee in a hat..so I have no idea how they know what was going on). She was having strokes. The hospital missed her taking the strokes because she did not have another stroke while she was sitting there eating their food. The hosptial charged 54,000$ for NOTHING! Doc saved my life!
I would not recommend this doctor, not because of the doctor, but because of the staff. The doctor informed me that I should see a blood specialist, the staff told me I would not need a referral. After calling a hematologist they had informed me I need a referral. After calling the doctor's office to have them send a referral, I was told a note would be given to the nurse who would then send the referral, the next day I called to make the appointment and they still had not received the referral. The hospital said all was fine and I was not feeling to fine. Dr Orehek found three things in the hospital record that were wrong - the most impt was my heart. I had a heart attack in the past an no one at the hospital told me! It took a while with my insurance to get the heart fixed but the artery is now open and I pay to go to cardiac rehab. Dr. Orehek is a the best DOCTOR! He took so much time with me and my mother. She was just dscharged from a hospital (ewwe) and the hospital has "doctors" but they knew nothing! Dr Orehek helped us to find out what happened and why we had to be in the hospital and the hospital never told us. We are upset that the hospital never told us about the MASS! in the kidney - but when Dr Orehek looked over all of the scans and hospital records we were able to sea it. Now we have to get it treated.
We went to Dr. Orehek after being to a number of different medical practices in the area and were so happy that we did. The Doctor took the time to look over all of the information we had - and sat to go over the images on the lungs and this was very helpful. I knew I had a problem and he sent me to an excellent surgeon who fixed me right up. You should go see Dr. O as I call him.
Dr. Orehek takes very good care of his patients. I know of a dozen people that are close to me in my life that he has either saved them from a significant medical problem or made a test that helped them to get better. More doctors should be like Dr. Orehek. He will spend the time that is needed to help people with there problems. My best friend of my whole life was saved from a stroke, my cousin who also goes to see him was saved from cancer on her back before it spread.
