janet is so rude. she hanged up on me. its not my fault shes the only one in the office. she said shes the only one in the office and don't have time. she would not let me speak. she is so unprofessional. i understand i didn't have a updated lease. but she was very rude about it and didn't give me a chance to talk. very rude and very unprofessional. i cant believe they have people like that working and trying to help people out. if your not going to have the patience and time then she needs to go work somewhere else.
RecommendedToday when I dropped off a donation I had the privilege of watching the young man assist the people ahead of me. He greeted each one with a bright smile and kind voice. He genuinely seemed delighted to serve others.While I was amazed and inspired by his compassion and work ethic, on another hand I should not have been awed. Stop feeding crap to the poor, like Jiffy Peanut butter full of monoglyceride, diglyceride, hydrogenated oil, partially hydrogenated oil. You are not doing any one any favors. How much of our taxes are funneled through this organization?

They offer Collin County not only assistance with hunger and homelessness, but also education and training to help prevent it. ACO works hard to ensure every child has a toy this holiday season, but they also remember the needs of the families and seniors who struggle as well. We all need to remember Hunger and Homelessness is an issue for so many regardless of the time of year. Donate those Holiday toys, but PLEASE dont forget your financial and food donations are just as important.
Great place to shop for clothes, furniture, household items, books and music. They even have a couple of racks of clothing with the tags still on.
I love shopping for treasures at ACO! I also donate whenever I can. It all goes to a good cause.
I like what they do for the community, but their thrift store has gone mad with their pricing. When their vinyl records cost more than half price books ($15 a record?!?), it’s no longer an affordable way to help them raise money.
