Had an appointment at 1:00. Filled out paperwork day prior online, and PRE PAID. Arrived early. Got in to room at 12:57. Nurse done at 1:05. Then waited and waited. At 1:25 I had to leave. First, its not right no matter how busy they are that the HOLY Dr. who is better than everyone else lets us little people set like lemmings. No one stuck their head in after 20 minutes or so to say sorry we are running late as a common courtesy or to pretend that they even cared. Yuck. If your doctor refers you here…ask them to detail the bill you will receive post consultation appointment before you are seen. Or better yet go somewhere else. For some reason they seem to think it’s acceptable to charge a hospital fee of just about $500. This is on top of the doctor fee of $360. Keep in mind this is a consult appt that lasted maybe 15 minutes. With nothing being done to you. Absolutely a massive money grab. asked to arrive 30 minutes early. appointment time 1pm. time now 130. doc stopped in said he was looking for something and still had 1 more patient to see before me. good thing I don't have other plans today. it amazes me how it seems their time is valuable but mine is not. I could be pain free in my bed right now. instead I'm sitting in a chair writhing. I have had nothing but great experiences with the Pain Clinic. Staff has always been helpful and understanding. Dr. Afzal, can be direct, but I prefer that from my physicians. He has always explained the procedure and other options available.
Very displeased with my experience. Dr. Maldonado was extremely rude and treated me like I’m not actually in pain and as if I was drug seeking. This guy clearly doesn’t give a shit abt his patients he’s just there for his paycheck. I will be looking for some other Dr to see, if you could even call him that.
