The hygienist and the dentist should try to speak more slowly to toddlers. A lot of the concepts are new to them, and it takes a moment for understanding.

I am always so impressed with how the staff takes care of my child. He has special needs and going to the dentist is difficult for him, but at Dr. Chen's office he is happy and cooperative because they know how to take care of kids. :)
The assistant who helped us was outstanding. He made my son feel comfortable. I am terrible with names. Wish I could give his name so you knew how valuable he is.

Dr Chen and his staff are always so friendly, positive, and welcoming when we are there. It makes the whole "scary dentist" notion non-existent! Our questions and concerns are addressed and answered thoroughly.
