Well first off, I want to thank Doctor Poelstra and his team. I’ve had a bad fusion since 2006. Revision in 2007. Still, this didn’t fix me. I tried other drs locally but I was told they wouldn’t touch me. They said I would have to try somewhere like UCLA. I felt hopeless, until I met Dr Poelstra. Within minutes of seeing my films he told me exactly how he would fix me!!!!! Using his robot & computers along with CT machine during the 2-day surgery. He didn’t have to fillet me open either. Great Dr easy Jamaica appointment but they dropped the ball what did they drop the ball on my prescription it took over a week to call it in had to go with out any pain medication for a week after major surgery
Dr Gitelis assistant is horrible every time I come in I have to wait 2 hours. She never turned in my paperwork for surgery I had to organize it all. Then she had the nerves to call me the day after I organized my surgery schedule and act like she did it. What a horrible horrible assistant she should be fired.
Dr Andrew Lee did my back surgery in Nov 2024 and he also did my left shoulder surgery this month April 2025. I'm still recovering and in Physical Therapy. I highly recommend Dr Lee, he is a great surgeon, very compassionate and very professional. He was recommended to me by my old neurologist and by another surgeon and I'm very happy.
