Air Allegiant counter in Fort Lauderdale is so garbage. They had one person handling check bags and check-ins and there was at least 50 people waiting in line. They had one person handling check in. They had three people handling priority at one point and we are all looking at them are you serious they see us standing there looking at them. No acknowledgment, nothing. We had a family emergency and needed to change our flight. Allegiant wasn’t willing to offer any flexibility — we ended up losing the full cost of the ticket. I understand airlines have policies, but there was no attempt to work with us given the circumstances, which was disappointing. If you have other airline options, I’d consider them first. In my experience, Allegiant isn’t the airline I’d choose unless it was the only option available.

Landed in FLL and Allegiant lost our stroller over 2 years ago, no one at the gate did anything to help me after I was told i would receive a follow up call the next day since out flight was delayed (shocker) and it was very late. Called and sent several emails, never received a call back. Needless to say I was never reimbursed for the stroller. Ended up stuck in Savannah overnight when we were unable to land in Greenville on 6/25. Was reimbursed $100 which was not even enough to cover the hotel, food, and Ubers to and from ... read more
