Stop charging excessively higher rates and definitely improve your customer service
Very miss leading - Just another BIG company stealing from small business!
Follow-through on commitments such as returning phone calls and taking timely action to ensure a client's requests are honored. Avoid deploying the tactics of "nickel & diming" clients to generate revenue. Its been my experience in business that you'll make dollars, instead of loose change, if you build a partnership that is based on trust. Regrettably that was not my experience with Allegiance Merchant Services with my law firm.
Very bad customer support. On more than one occasion, we have not been able to get customer support for our credit card terminal. The telephone numbers they provide on statements and on their website for support are a joke... once the sun goes down, you are screwed. In all fairness, if you do get a hold of a support person, they are always able to help, especially with terminal support. We love the attention to detail, the quick response time to calls and e-mails, the personable service, the assistance offered in the transition from our previous merchant vendor, and the fact that they WILL do what they say they'll do. Allegiance Merchant Services has the worst customer service I have ever experienced as a small business owner. In almost 5 years of owning a small business, I have never received such horrid support or customer service. Not to mention the "field" representative that works my territory, who has no clue what small businesses need... Beware....switched companies in June 2017.
