The Officer Manager, wife of the doctor, is very unprofessional. She turned away nine previous patients and all their relatives and friends. The Office Manager is extremely rude and disloyal to their long standing patients at this office and at the Community Eye Care in Monongahela.
RecommendedI am a patient of Dr Boehme’s and have been so happy with him and his staff that I recently took my 95+ year old mother there for an exam and new glasses. The office staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very caring. Dr Boehme patiently gave her a thorough exam taking extra time to allay her fears and compensate for her hearing loss. It took her forever to pick new frames, but all the staff pitched in with suggestions. She left there happier than I have seen her in a long time.
My polycarbonate lenses fractured for the fourth time & they now refuse to correct this issue !!! The upsold me on these lenses, because they are the hardest lenses to break!! Its either inferior/ cheap lenses, or incorrect cutting& installation Or both !!! I Bought their insurance!! & they refuse to resolve the issue!! Think twice before you get their polycarbonate lenses!! This is not my first pair from AVA!! Do your research !! All I have read said its on their end!!!!
I recently had an appointment, and was very impressed. They have new ladies working there and I thought they were all so very nice!! I also got to meet my new doctor, miss Crawford! She was wonderful! Very professional, but very caring and thorough! Many thanks to Elaine, Sheri, and Anita for being so nice!

Rip Off. Charged me $85 to fit for contacts and still tested 3 pair of them to get one that fit right. No refund even tho they clearly did not even fit me correctly or at all. Business is never open and the staff lost my file 3 out of 4 visits. Stay away.
