Great little store This is a great little store for the semi-professional or dabbler artist, children, those looking for good stationary products or card. They have a large selection of pens and paper and a huge selection of sketch books. They carry oils, pastels, pencils for drawing, a very good stock. I used to go up to NYC when I bought in greater quantity, but now use this store. It carries better fine art stock than the craft stores, plus very nice stationary type notebooks, pens, cards, crafts packs for kids, etc. A ve... read more
The Best.. I absolutely love this store! It is the best art store that I have ever been in, AC Moore or Michaels could never be compared with Allegheny Art. I was just in there today and they have amazing stuff; next to everything you could possibly imagine having to do with arts and crafts. It is very organized and just a great place to be. I am an eighteen year old senior in highschool and I consider myself a good artist, and this store is very helpful to me, and what's even better is that it's in walking distance from my ... read more
Small but pure Instead of the larger craft stores that have art supplies that have to do mainly with scrap booking----this store is small but great for purists. Nice old fashioned art store, with knowledgable sales people and if you can belive this, free street parking so you can visit all of the other charming stores along this charming main street. Starbucks within walking distance too! Deli right next door. A lovely way to spend a spring afternoon.
