NEVER SELECT DR.DEJARA WELLONS, DO. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT FOR A VAGINAL EXAM. THE NURSE ASKED ME WAS I OK SWABBING MYSELF. I WAS TAKEN ABACK BY THE QUESTION BUT I POLITLEY TOLD HER NO. I WOULD PREFER THE DOCTOR TO DO IT. AFTER WAITING 30 MINUTES FOR THE DOCTOR. I WAS ADVISED THAT THE DOCTOR WOULD NOT DO IT AND I HAD TO DO IT MYSELF OR THEY CAN CANCEL THE APPT. I feel like I have been scammed $1000. I went there 3 times, once for an annual and twice for a sick visit. The lady at the desk who I called to set up appointments told me that they took my insurance and that the sick visits should be covered by insurance. Then I was surprised by a call from collections that I owed over $1000 because they were out-of-network and did not cover my annual and barely covered anything from the sick visit. I am sooo upset. These guys at 8:40 in the morning and no one in the waiting room turned me away because I was late past their 5 minute grace period. Wouldn’t let me sit and wait. They don’t care if you are suffering or want to health should be all alldeath no care.

Avoid this place — questionable billing practices and zero accountability. I scheduled an appointment specifically for an ear cleaning. The doctor took a quick look and said he wouldn’t perform the cleaning. No treatment was provided, and I was out the door in 5 minutes. Two months later, I received a $300 bill for services I never received — including a charge for a “behavioral assessment,” which was never performed or even mentioned. I had a very poor experience at the AllCare Decatur, GA location today. I arrived around 1:28 pm, paid for parking, and entered the clinic at 1:36 pm, considering the parking app takes several minutes to get through. The receptionist asked if I had an appointment (I didn’t) and, in front of another patient who was leaving, loudly asked my reason for visiting, to maintain confidentiality I responded after the patient exited, and she said “We’re closed for lunch until 2:30 pm.
