EDIT: changed to 2 stars because they did clean the fireplace and don't smell gas. Would've liked more professional service and interaction. Rude to his assistant. Wasn't the best on fixing the fan, took way way too long. If you are thinking about hiring this company, get everything in writing beforehand.
Wife called for an appt because we thought there was a very faint smell of gas while the fireplace was off. We scheduled for tomorrow, they called and said they were close but were running late. We said appt is for tomorrow, but since you're ready and we work from home ok come today. Flag #1. He comes in wearing a neck brace which I guess shouldn't be an issue but when you have to lie prone on the floor working in a tight space maybe not? Flag #2. He did a great job but was WAY OVER what was estimated for the cost. He claimed it was a misunderstanding and he didn’t explain it correctly, however, what was supposed to be $1000 ended up costing us $1600. So make sure you get a good estimate and explanation.
