Used to be good, not anymore. Drivers break trees, double billing, don't return phone calls, asked for bin to be removed but still haven't come to get it and now after trying to convince us to stay with them but we refused more than 3 times due to cost there is some magic contract that supposedly exists that we are breaking and yet there is no copy of it and it was never previously mentioned when they were trying to convince us to stay with them. I'd give 0 stars if it were an option.
It is late in the season and so all other similar stores are sold out of what I needed and I'm so glad I came across Allan's because they had a self-serve for the rocks I needed and I was very kindly helped by one of their staff! As a single woman going into places like this is intimidating but talking to the young woman behind the till who easily helped me and understood what I needed was very reassuring.
Product (tri-mix) was terrible with many rocks. Fuel surcharge is ridiculous and 2 to 3 times over what the fuel would actually cost for that delivery. Will never use Allan's again, nor recommend it to my contractors.
Incredibly unhelpful, not a single employee seems to know what their job is or how to do it
Call to get a bin magically the can deliver same day seems awesome right. Fill it because your moving of the house your trying to sell all of this is on a Saturday call Monday to arrange pick up earliest is Thursday less then ideal is what it is go by the following Saturday bin still there annoying make a note call Monday and check Monday morning call in how come my bin wasn’t picked up? Let me check driver said it was picked up Thursday let me call you back never calls back today is now Thursday bin still there called in ag... read more
