Very disappointed with this experience. I had an appointment and during the visit we discussed starting a medication. However, the prescription was never sent to the pharmacy. I waited for some time and then sent a message through the patient portal asking about the status. When I did not receive any response, I sent another follow-up message, but again there was no reply. I arrived early, but it was almost 2 hours after my appointment time before I was seen by the doctor. While sitting in the waiting area, I witnessed his staff engage in a horrible conflict with another patient. I wish I had recognized that as a clear indication of the unprofessional behavior of Dr. Shoelson and his staff, and left. my disabled father went to dr sholson’s office and was treated horribly by this doctor and the office staff due to his medicaid status and for being a Black man. i see all the positive reviews but it’s bullshit. do not see this doctor if you are Black, diasbled, or both.
