I have lived in Livingston for almost 20 years and have always used Allan Feid. I have dealt with Allan and his father and have always found them pleasant to deal with. My first encounter with Allen Feid was Easter Sunday weekend, PSEG had just Condemned the boiler in the basement. Allen had originally installed the unit for the previous owner so I called him. I'd have to agree with the first review. I got stiffed for quite a bit of money for fixing a few pipes that were leaking. I think they look for work once they get into the house.

Buyer Beware!!! Absolutely do not use these guys. While their work is adequate, their billing practice is outrageous. I got a bill for work done in my house that was more than twice what it should have cost. When I disputed the bill, it was corrected due to an "administrative error", but the bill was still not reduced to anything close to a reasonable price. They have been absolutely uncooperative in resolving the dispute. Next step...Better Business Bureau and complaint to State Licensing Board.
