Prices are decent. The guys taking your recycling are decent. But the tellers lack manners. They rush you through the process with no explanations, asking you to sign things without letting you understand what you're signing, and they come off as hateful

The Miramar Recycling Center (Allan Co.) is one of the best facilities of its kind. A beautifully run business with outstanding employees and staff. Life would be wonderful if organizations were run as well and as smoothly as this one.

I find Allen Co easy to work with. However, the hazardous recycling center is at a different driveway. The Allen Co recycling center takes electronics and appliances. You pay to dispose of appliances and toilets and donate scrap steel. Electrical wire without insulation nets you more money. Bring your I.D. otherwise, bottles and cans for CRV is what most people bring in.

If you have commercial steel to recycle stay away. We have been recycling here for over a decade and then out of the blue they refuse to unload our trailer with their equipment as they always have. They weighed the trailer and then upon circling they said they would not unload it and told our driver to unload it himself and when he starts unloading they tell him to stop and tell him he can't.
