I recently bought some new SmartStrand Silk carpet. I had no idea that it was so much more dense than my old SmartStrand carpet and that I needed to be sure to buy a vacuum cleaner with a soft bristle brush. I was very frustrated trying to find the right vacuum cleaner that wouldn't harm the carpet, wasn't too noisy, and would push across the carpet fairly easily. I had decided on a Sebo automatic X7. After years of using bagless vacuums that were claiming to be HEPA filter, and having each break, I finally switched to a German made SEBO vacuum. I can order ANY part for a SEBO SURE Dyson vacuums are cute, but they aren't fixable most of the time (trust me this is painful $$$$$). And the other "HEPA" bagless vacuums are always spewing dust everywhere.... My GF has severe dog allergies, and I have a dog... I can finally have both due to my SEBO vacuum. I came in knowing that I wanted either a Sebo or Meile canister based on my online research, but with Josephs knowledge and guidance I was able to pinpoint it down to one exact model that would work best for me.
