It was a truly magical experience. From the moment we arrived, we were transported back to the early 1900s. I couldn’t stop imagining what life must have felt like living in this beautiful manor. The property is thoughtfully designed, with spacious and comfortable rooms, a peaceful atmosphere, and a charming neighbourhood that makes it easy to disconnect, relax, and simply feel at home. There’s something truly special about this place—it’s not just a stay, but an experience that stays with you.
Just stunning. One of my favorite places to stay in the entire world, would pick it up and carry it with me if I could. As another reviewer mentioned, you almost don't want to review it because you'd rather no one else knew about it as it would never be available - it's that special.
This is exactly the kind of hotel I love. Given its long history and historic reputation, I arrived with high expectations, and it certainly lived up to them. The staff were exceptionally well-prepared and attentive, everything was impeccably clean, and the beautiful atmosphere made the entire experience even more memorable. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere, the furniture, and the exceptional kindness and hospitality of all the staff were truly first-class. The hotel has an elegant and sophisticated charm with a deep sense of history and culture, beautifully complemented by the St. Lawrence River right in front of it.
