Purchased a 2020 Ford Expedition in 2021 - turns out there is a known issue with the CDF Drum in these transmissions. Brought the vehicle in complaining of rough shifting, was told there was no issue with the Transmission that they could find. Brought back at 100k miles (now out of warranty) and was told vehicle has a failing CDF drum and would be $8500 to replace. No other option than a (Reman) Transmission from Ford.
