Dr. Peter Mortiletti is a butcher. NEVER go there. He should not be allowed to practice. I had a cleaning, said I was fine. Got a call back for a cavity and needed a filling. He screamed at me, then pushed so hard on my tooth while filling it he fractured my tooth. I then had to get a crown 2000.00 dollars later. I hope they close that practice down.
Aside from cleanings, I have never had any work done to my teeth because Ive never even had a cavity. I recently got my first cavity and went to Smile Family Dental in Marshfield, MA to have it filled. They completely botched my filling to the point where I ended up in the ER with antibiotics and an inflamation reducer. I went to a different dentist the next day to have it looked at because I was in excrusiating pain. I was told that the filling was done so poorly that I would have to have it replaced. I agree with the other people about Smile Family Dental. It is definately a rip of. I paid cash to have a plate made and it didn't fit properly. So I went there to have them adjust it and they said they couldn't I'd have to have another one made. I went out of the office very upset, ya think.... I made several phone calls and all they came up with was for me to give it back and they would refund my money.....mind you what was I supposed to do with no partial plate???? If you have children don't ever go here. They are rude and not kid friendly at all. I am disgusted how my child was treated. The dental assistant was very very rude and should not be working there she is horrible at her job. The only nice person was the secretary. DON'T EVER GO HERE !! WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN. I will never go back and recommend everyone not to go.
Stay away from this place!! Went there to have a crown done and the dentist gave 5 shots of anesthesia to try to get my mouth ready for the procedure and after an hour and a half my mouth was still not numb. As I had to go back to work I said I wanted to leave and have my $900 paid in cash at the counter refunded. The person at the front desk said my money was at the bank already and she would call me back to pick up the money if not that day (Tuesday), the next day.
