This room was great, good view, close to everything and is located in the center of the top floor. I appreciated the well stocked kitchen stuff. One thing that sucks is the ancient washer and dryer. There is about enough room to wash a couple sets of underwear and socks, but a pair of jeans will fill it up. The building is old, but up kept. The elevators are very slow and paring is tight. But, I would come back and recommend it.
The condo is spacious and lovely. The furnishings are comfortable and the location couldn’t be better. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is that the window in the bedroom doesn’t have coverings sufficient to block the lights from the street, so the room never gets dark
The condo was very nice. Updated and all of the amenities we wanted. I would definitely stay there again.
This condo (The Lodge room 356) is absolutely beautiful! It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All the bathrooms have been updated and are very nice! The condo offers plenty of space, nicely supplied kitchen with everything we needed, and a great location! The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the parking situation is absolutely ridiculous! There is only Parking for one vehicle and you must use a permit. We had 2 couples accompany us. We love Fort Marcy. This was our second time staying there. However, the unit we stayed at was less than desirable. The beds were so old, lumpy and uncomfortable. In one of the rooms, the window did not close properly so it was very loud at night. The unit also boasted of sleeping 6 people but only had two queen beds. I tried for us to move to a different unit but was told there was no availability. Unit 99 needs to be fixed up. It has no view, no balcony, and no washer and dryer.
