Movers beware… I used all my sons moving to help some friends out and when I initially called I was given a quote of $189 an hour plus an additional hour at that rate for travel. I was very specific about the move, the type of furniture, and the size of the place. I specifically asked how long the move should take so I could get a rough estimate on how much I would be charged. I wanted to share my experience so hopefully no one else goes through what I did. The customer service representative essentially scammed me into booking with this company. I was originally given an estimate that was about $400 over my budget. I told the salesman exactly that and explained I would keep calling other moving companies for quotes. If this lets me leave 0 stars I will. If not, and it makes me leave a 1 star review, that’s not because I have any future faith in what this company has sent out. We moved about 2 months ago now and to say it was a horrific experience is an understatement. Originally it was quoted incorrectly that led to a job we thought was going to be an efficient and worry free to 3 days off constant changes and damages. We had the worst experience with All My Sons when moving from Alabama to North Carolina. They were supposed to arrive at 8 am to load up our things. We called multiple times and were told by Quinn that they were “almost there”. They showed up at noon. The first thing they did was ask for tips. We were previously told that all payment and tips would be when everything arrived in North Carolina. I have had 28 moves in my life, 2 international, never had an issue until I booked with this company. AVOID. The worst movers, damage, overcharged, would not put boxes in room where I asked them to go. I can't get anyone locally to answer the phone. Please book elsewhere
