I had a screen replacement done on an iPhone 11 Pro Max. One of the bottom pentalobe screws was already stripped going into the repair which I pointed out. The phone was opened during the screen replacement but the screw was not replaced. When I asked about it, I was told the screw was “broken off inside” and that replacing it would have “required soldering”.
