This is a nice mom and pop style dispensary That only specializes in Siemens products. While they are a bit old fashioned, they were very open and friendly. I made a few out of the box requests as it pertained to my hearing aids and ear molds. While they weren't used to the types of requests I made, they did the best they could to accomodate my requests. It is a "Ma & Pa" business. I believe the daughter & wife of the man owning & operating the business sit up front as the receptionist. The Gentleman who is the dispenser is quite nice. So once you bypass his wife and/or daughter you are in good hands, lol...Medi-cal is horrible & substandard and that sounds like part of what the issue was confirming eligability? I came with my 90 years old mother to choose the appropriate Hearing Aid but the counter person was not able to scan my mother's medical card and told me that the medical card is not valid and this card WAS VALID and this card is a good card. They told that my mother does not meet eligibility. I lost 3 working hours thanks to counter person. When I called to reschedule an appointment the counter person three times in a row refused to speak to confirm that it will be no problem with the card. The service was TERRIBLE!
